Attendees: Sis. Lourdes Fabia, Monique Quisumbing, Tessa Belleza, Suzette David-Nazareno, May Gorospe-Favis, Victoria Edora, Pinky Mabanta-Gonzalez, Eileen Salud, Lisa Marie Hirang, Gigi Savella, Elisa Rabino

 

Minutes:

1. The meeting was called to order at 10:25 am with Tessa Belleza presiding.

2. Business of the Day

2.1 PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Members:

Program Title “Batch79@25”

Program Theme “Retro ( the 70's)”

Program Venue: SBS covered court

Program Date : 30 November 2004 (Monday)

 

Schedule of Activities

2:00 pm Registration (Second Lobby)

3:00 pm Game

4:00 pm Mass / Blessing and inauguration of the gate

5:30 pm Program

Program Preparations:

Ø      Nadia will make the powerpoint presentation. 

Ø      The meeting agreed to get a Dance Instructor at a fee of P600-P750 per hour. (P15,000 for the entire package  with concept, direction and music) Tessa will get in touch with the DI to arrange schedule. Tessa suggested the sessions be in October-November. The DI will be asked to be present on November 30.

Ø      Suggested emcees of the program are: Tinette Encinas, Eileen Salud and Pat Yap.

Ø      Suggested numbers: U.S. Batch’79 will sing “Manila, Manila,” retro dance number by Batch’79 Manila group, and one song by Nancy Basilio.

Ø      Suzette said that the co-hosts of the Batch’79 homecoming at Batch ’74 and Batch ’84. They can be part of the program.

 

2.2. FINANCE COMMITTEE

Ø      Tessa explained that everything that concerns money she put under the Finance Committee.

Ø      Monique will give the financial reports at the next meeting.

Ø      It was clarified that the deadline for the collection of contributions is AUGUST 30, 2004. However, Tessa suggested that we will still accept contributions until October-November because we will still have activities we need to fund.

Ø      Suzette will provide the list of contributors with their corresponding amount. But this will not be mounted on the e-group.

 

2.3 PHYSICAL ARRANGEMENT COMMITTEE

Members

Victoria Edora - Physical Arrangements

Aldalyn Tagaña - Physical Arrangements

Lisa Marie Hirang - Physical Arrangement

Elisa Rabino - Physical Arrangement

Wilma Buenviaje - Physical Arrangement

 

Ø      Lisa presented the T-shirt design and the group commented on the design. The problem will be the size because the collar will push against the sleeve. Lisa also raised the question, how many T-shirts will be printed?

Ø      Pinky suggested the collar be lighter and smaller.

Ø      The group selected the font for the text 79@25.

Ø      Lisa and Elisa will sponsor the sound system for the homecoming.

Ø      Lisa reported that she has made arrangements regarding the live coverage and the projector with 1000-1500 lumens. But she still has to confirm the budget. She will report this at the next meeting.

Ø      We will check with Wilma regarding the tables and chairs with tablecloths for the homecoming.

 

 

2.4 FOOD AND BEVERAGE COMMITTEE

Ø      Suzette clarified the food assignments for the different batches:

Batch ’73 – Dirty Ice Cream

Batch '79 - fishballs, sago, gulaman

Batch '77 – BBQ

Batch ’80 - Sandwiches

Batch '82 – hotdog

Alumni Board – souvenir items

Ø      Sr. Lourdes will help contact Monina for her cheeserolls.

Ø      Lisa asked for a sponsorship letter for the booths. If we can get them for free, we will rent them out for P500 each. Suzette said this amount will go to the waterproofing of the auditorium.

 

2.5 SOUVENIR PROGRAM

Ø      Those who will submit pictures first submit to Nadia for the souvenir program, then to Elisa for the collage then to Tere for the power point.

Ø      SBS will provide the LCD projector.

Ø      Sr. Lourdes agreed to submit a write-up as part of the souvenir program.

Ø      The letter regarding the sponsorship was distributed to everybody present.

Ø      Everybody is encouraged to look for sponsors for our Souvenir Program. The rates are as follows:

Full Page                      1,000.00 (Size: 8 ½ x 11)

Half Page                     750.00

Quarter Page                500.00

For Colored –              Add 500.00
