Minutes of October 9, 2004 - Philippines

Attendees: Suzette Nazareno, Eileen Guevara, Iquit P. Bulay, Angga Valenzuela, Nadia Villanueva-Tayag, Elisa Rabino, Lisa Hirang, Gina Savella, Monique Quisumbing

 

MINUTES OF THE MEETING:

 

The meeting was called to order at 10:40 AM.

 

Things Agreed upon:

 

1.      The videographer agreed to shoot our garage sale on 17 October 2004 and to interview our former teachers. Suzette will help Lisa in coordinating the schedule for the interview.

 

2.      Regarding the helpers for our event, Suzette clarified that the 4 (2 girls to be our Cashier and 2 boys to help in arranging the tables and chairs) must be paid. The amount agreed upon was P400/person.

 

3.      Banderitas should be set on the third week of November. Eileen should get the banderitas from our sponsor on the first week of November.

 

4.      Regarding our sleepover, another venue was proposed, the house of Pat’s sister located at Camp Aguinaldo. The body decided that we should do an ocular inspection first before deciding. However, the group was already looking forward to the 7 Suites Hotel.

 

Things to be done:

 

5.      Suzette to ask permission from school if we can use Grade School canteen area and tables just in case Purefoods cannot provide us the 12 booths that we requested. Suzette informed the body that this would be discussed during the Board meeting scheduled this afternoon.

 

6.      Eileen was able to talk to Purefoods. To date, only 2 booths are available. She still has to talk to Coke and Philippine Beverage for additional booths.

 

For information:

 

7.      Monique reported that as of 9 October 9 2004, our cash deposited in the bank is P96,523.85.

 

8.      Regarding our Rummage Sale scheduled on 17 October 2004, the following were reported:

 

·         Lisa brought the streamer and this was already posted at the Gate

·         Nadie already made flyers. Gina to make more copies for the distribution.

·         We will need the help of Mang Danny for distributing our flyers. The group agreed to pay him P300.00.

·         We will be using the color coding for our Rummage Sale.  A color will be placed on items corresponding to a specific amount. For example, red for P20 items, green for P30 items, etc.

 

9.      To date, no menu has been faxed by 7 Suites Hotel.

 

10.  Wilma Buenviaje already agreed to lend us chairs and tables good for 200 people on 28 November 2004.

 

Next meeting is on 16 October 2004.
